My uncle met Johnny! - So this is old news apparently, but it happend! My uncle met Johnny Depp! I live in Florida close to where they shot Edward Scissorhands and of course, I was only 2 years old when they made it, so I wasnt a fan. My uncle lives REALLY close to where they shot the movie (He lives in Lakeland) and today he told me that he met Johnny on the set! He said that he was on his way to the hardware shop where Edward gets his scissors sharpened to get some tools, but there was a huge crowd and film crew blocking the way in, so he stood around to see what all of the fuss was about and he says that he freaked at the sight of a scary man standing in all leather in the middle of the summer with scissors for hands. LOL But then as soon as he heard "And Johnny, action!" he figured it was a movie. So he stood around and watched Johnny do his scene...the lady that was with him messed up like 6 times, but Johnny only messed up once because he says that when he went to yell "Kim!" he accidentally yelled "Winona!" and burst out laughing. Anyways, long story short, after the scene, my uncle leaned over and yelled "Johnny!" and Johnny walked over to my uncle and my uncle is a really big fan of his, so he told him how much he loved him on Jump Street. Johnny laughed and said "Bless you. Thats really sweet. 21 Jump Street was quite an experience" and laughed again. Then Johnny went to shake my uncle's hand and then burst out laughing again when he remembered he had scissors for hands. When Johnny went to leave, he said "Thanks for supporting me!" and left. My uncle said he was by far the nicest person he'd ever met just by those few minutes he talked to him because he was so humble. Sorry that was sort of a long story, but I thought it was so awesome. Too bad he didnt have anything to sign.
